March 10-11, 2011

Presented by Richard Harrington, RHED Pixel

I attended an open house at RHED Pixel these last two days, my first since December 2009. During the event I attended all of Rich Harrington’s informational presentations. He went in depth into the Big-3 social networking sites, blogging trends, and networking.  Statistics were covered including facts such as 55 million tweets per day on Twitter, 1 out of every 2 people have a Facebook account, and that 86% of Twitter users are above high school graduation level.  It was also announced that Washington DC had just become the #1 city using twitter.

Websites covered were:

Tubemogul.com

Blip.tv

hashtags.org

twitter.com/goodies

twitterfeed.com

favstar.fm

bit-ly.com

podcastmusic.com

scribd.com

animato.com

and Livestream.com

As well as Apps:

Flipboard, Twitterfeed, AppMaker, Feedburner, Ligit and TweetVid

His company, RHED Pixel, recorded these and intend to edit and release them over the next few months. In the meantime, here are the slides:  http://www.richardharringtonblog.com/files/5e91bad76294bc837c7d99c4dffa99fd-1344.php
